Job Description:

Tranco Global seeks a highly motivated top performer to join our team as Manager of International Sales. This individual must be experienced in international freight forwarding and have a competitive spirit. This position is a corporate field sales role based in Chicago, IL, but reports directly to the corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, TN. This individual will develop sales strategies and be responsible for attracting new clients and customers. The successful candidate will travel to meet customers and report to the office as needed. Job Duties

• Research, qualify, and solicit new business
• Make outbound telephone calls to prospective and existing customers
• Schedule and conduct face-to-face sales meetings with prospects and existing customers
• Negotiate rates and pricing with prospects and existing customers
• Effectively communicate with customers, agents, and co-workers, both domestically and internationally
• Enter sales activity into the Tranco computer system in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain professional conduct with colleagues and customers
• Adhere to Tranco policies and procedures
• Comply with all government regulations

Job Requirements

• Ability to sell Tranco Global services to new customers
• Three (3) plus years of international freight forwarding experience (air, ocean, and customs clearance)
• Experience in sales and business development
• Overnight travel required (Estimated 30%)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office computer skills
• Ability to stay current with the Companys KPIs
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• CargoWise system experience is a plus
